What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
This site has no contact form, no sign-up form and no account system. Nothing you do here is stored on our side.
What we collect
Only what you send us yourself. If you email info@georgetownmainstreet.com, we keep that email in order to reply. If you ask us to add you to the monthly newsletter, we keep your address for that.
Forms run by other people
Several buttons on this site open forms hosted elsewhere: grant applications on Cognito Forms, volunteer sign-ups on Civic Champs, our request forms on Google Forms, donations on PayPal. What you type there is handled under those companies' own privacy policies, not ours. We only receive the responses.
What we don't do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
- We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not run advertising trackers or analytics that follow you across other websites.
Maps
The business directory shows satellite imagery from Esri and links out to Google Maps. Opening a listing sends you to Google, which applies its own policy from that point on.
Getting off the list, or deleting your details
Write to info@georgetownmainstreet.com and say so. A person reads it and removes you. There is no automated system to do it for you.
